The Mission Statement of the Wisconsin Medical Group Management Association is to advance group practice management in order to improve the delivery of health care in Wisconsin. Our objectives include: - Serving as a vehicle to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in group practices
- Meeting the diverse educational needs of our members.
- Monitoring legislation and regulation and taking action, directly or in cooperation with others, as deemed appropriate, in the interest of group practice.
- Establishing and maintaining liaison with consumers, employers, providers and organizations interested in health care in order to enhance group practice.
As outlined in the WMGMA Bylaws, the primary purpose of the Association is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among professionals engaged in ambulatory health care management. WMGMA will help develop solutions to the challenges of present and emerging health care delivery systems. This will be accomplished by facilitating communication between members, providing continuing education opportunities, assisting in the development of leadership skills, and by developing and advocating positions on legislative and regulatory issues.
