Speaker Bios

Robert has over 28 years of experience in integrated healthcare system network practice management and medical group operations, finance, performance improvement, strategic planning, and revenue cycle with a particular emphasis in working with large multispecialty medical groups that are owned and operated by large integrated healthcare enterprises. His strong financial and operational background allows him to work with inpatient specialties such as hospitalist, laborist, nocturnist, and surgicalist as well as outpatient specialties such as primary care, obstetrics, specialist and clinical service lines within integrated delivery systems and community based healthcare providers. Robert has served as CEO of a large independent multispecialty medical group and is familiar with the challenges of remaining independent in the current operating environment. Robert is a Fellow/Board Certified Medical Practice Executive (FACMPE), American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Carolyn has over 25 years of experience in operations and consulting in multiple sectors of healthcare including independent medical groups and integrated healthcare enterprises. Her experience spans all levels of the medical practice from the billing office to the boardroom giving her a practical perspective on what works from day to day operations to strategic planning. She has led dozens of successful Practice Management and Electronic Health Records implementation projects across the US. Her recent focus has been on assessing, redesigning and optimizing physician revenue cycle business processes. Carolyn is known for designing and implementing optimal practice solutions to meet the needs of her clients based on their particular challenge set, enabling them to deliver quality healthcare services with financially sustainable business practices in an ever-changing regulatory and economic environment.
