Keynote Presenters

Jim Mathis, IPCS, CSP, MDiv. is a bestselling author, International Platform Certified Speaking Professional (IPCS), Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), and executive consultant. He has been writing, speaking and consulting for over 42 years. He helps business leaders who want to reinvent their organizations in challenging economies. As a retired minister and successful business entrepreneur, Jim shares about business marketing strategy in a humorous, energetic and interactive style. Jim is based in Orlando, Florida and author of the best-selling book: ‘Reinvention Made Easy: Change Your Strategy, Change Your Results,’ as well as ‘Reinvention 101: Bold Ideas on Reinvention.’ Jim has presented for hundreds of organizations throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. His energetic, engaging style will help you to rethink, re-evaluate and reinvent your marketing, sales and management in health care services.


Suzanne leads congressional lobbying efforts for the Association and oversees MGMA’s federal advocacy efforts on several issue areas including alternative payment models, healthcare reform, and rural health. Suzanne represents MGMA on numerous stakeholder coalitions, panels and meetings with public officials in Washington, D.C. and frequently speaks at national and state conferences around the country.
Suzanne earned her Bachelors in government from the University of Maryland and holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, where she specialized in healthcare and domestic economic policy. Suzanne joined MGMA in 2012, prior to which she interned for Congressman Chris Van Hollen in his district and Capitol Hill offices.

Networking Events

Social Reception, Wednesday, March 14, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

This reception will be a casual opportunity for you to meet up with your colleagues and friends prior to the conference. Drop in at the Canyon Ridge Tap Room whenever you arrive. Canyon Ridge Taproom is located on level 1 below the Glacier Canyon Lodge lobby. It features a spacious dining room with a beautiful fireplace and comfortable seating. With pool tables and a full bar it is a great place to watch sporting events. There is no additional charge to attend.

Mini-Golf Reception, Thursday, March 15, 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Enjoy some friendly competition as you compete on the Wild Abyss 3D Mini Golf course. Located in the Wild West region, Wild Abyss indoor black-light mini golf course features intense graphics, but it’s the 3D glasses that will make your game even more wild. Wild Abyss features huge tropical aquariums with a variety of sea creatures and fish to look at while you play! There is no additional charge to attend.

Rooms are available at the Glacier Canyon Lodge at the special rate of $99.99 plus a $19.95 nightly resort fee. To guarantee this rate, reservations must be made by February 12, 2018. ACMPE CEU Information

The WMGMA 2018 Annual Conference meets meet the requirements for continuing education credit hours from ACMPE. These CE hours are good towards certification requirements. To claim credit hours, simply go to “my transcript” area of the MGMA website. Enter your CE hours based on the conference schedule. We recommend that the program materials or brochure are kept for your records in case of an audit. ACMPE matches hour-for-hour minus breaks and meals.

Registration fees include all conference sessions, materials, meals and breaks.

$125 – WMGMA & ACHE-WI member or other state constituent
$200 – Non-Member


$50 – Student attendee (individual enrolled as full-time students of an accredited degree program of healthcare administration)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received on or before March 5, 2018 by e-mail to All cancellations will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after March 5, 2018.
