WMGMA Medicare and Medicaid Workgroup

The WMGMA Medicare/Medicaid Workgroup is a forum in which appointed members through out the state from both large and small facilities meet with representatives from both Medicare and Medicaid to discuss issues of concern or interest. These concerns/interests may be in the form of reimbursement, policy clarification, claims processing, or the latest update from CMS. This group meets 4 times a year and usually very close to the timing of the Medicare Carriers Advisory Committee meetings. The morning sessions deal with Medicare issues and the afternoon is reserved for Medicaid issues. This collaboration has been in existence well before 1994. We encourage all members to submit questions directly to Kathy Walters at klwalter@gundluth.org. 2008 Meetings are scheduled for: March 10, June 9, Sept 15, Dec 8.
